A web app does something: dashboards, bookings, logins, calculations, workflows. If your customers need to interact and get a result - not just read - you are in web app territory.

How to Choose

1. Write down the one action you want a visitor to complete
2. If it is “contact us” or “buy a standard product”, start with a website
3. If it is “use my tool repeatedly”, plan a web app
